When you are feeling down it’s a good idea to take your mind off things. One of the ways you can beat your redundancy blues, is to do something different and have a Guinea Pig or Pet Party! If you haven’t got pets, you could throw one for a neighbour or friend’s pet, with their permission. Or have a party for any kids you may have, or go out yourself and just have fun.
Beat Redundancy Blues with World Of Quirky!
World of Quirky was launch on 9th of April. It is my company, that is made up of all of my businesses. Below is a flow chart that I created to help you more easily understand how my businesses work together, to form my World Of Quirky.
World of Quirky incorporates Quirky Academy, that is my education hub, for classes, courses and workshops via Quirky Training, Quirky-Marketing and Blog Trainer UK, to advance your personal and professional development. Alongside that, I offer Quirky Mentoring and Quirky Coaching. Finally, after weeks and weeks of painstaking hours of work, learning how to use more of WordPress.org’s tools, namely widgets and plugins, I have launched my all singing, all dancing, newly designed beatredundancyblues.com site. I was thrilled that my web host technician said it looks amazing, and I probably know more than him about using WordPress.org to design my site. This website is advertised on the front cover of my new Break through the barriers of redundancy book and it needed to be updated before I upload the book to CreateSpace.
Please check out my new beatredundancyblues.com site and tell me what you think.

What did you think of it?
I would like to introduce you to Sherri Matthews, she is a writer and fellow blogger. After reading my redundancy success story on my sandrabellamy.co.uk site, she wanted to share her own redundancy success story, with us.
You are inspirational. I too was made redundant twice, both due to office closure. The second time, in June 2011, was at the same time that my then 18 year old daughter was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. Like you, at first I was distraught but I realised that I needed to change my life and pursue the one thing I’ve always wanted to do, which is to write. I hoped that by doing so I could encourage and inspire others to change their lives, my message being that it is never too late since this all seemed to happen to me after I turned 50.
I’m now 54 and my life has changed dramatically. I have had some articles published in magazines and when I started my blog in January of this year I had no idea of the community I would find here. I am going to be writing about this and my experiences since that time soon.
Your site is so helpful and encouraging and I wish you every success in all you do
