When we go to school we get told to get an education and get a 9-5 job, when we get that job, often we come home, watch TV, maybe meet up with family or friends, but how much time do we actually spend investing in ourself, in nourishing our brain and in growing us?
When you think how short life is, does it make you reflect on your life, on what you have learnt? On how you are growing yourself? On how much of yourself you are challenging, growing, and developing? I did not know to think this way, but now I know I should have thought about this years ago. If I had known about personal and professional development when younger, I don’t think I would not have been depressed like I was, because my brain would have been nourished, nurtured, and I would have been able to see me in a different light. However, my environment was no good for me, but now I have a choice about every aspect of my life and if you have not done so already, I urge you to invest in yourself, with books, training courses, seminars, and more, because you are valuable and your life is worth more than another episode of your favourite soap opera or TV show – that is not going to grow or challenge you, you are worth more that that. So as we progress through 2018, I want you to ask yourself, how much do I value my time?
I watched this video by Mel Robbins recently and it is definitely a must see going into the new year. If you want to be unstoppable in 2018! Check out Mel’s 10 Rules For Success! And they will make you fly!

Redundancy – Destiny Wants Something Different For Me! Inspirational Poem By Sandra Bellamy!
Redundancy has come around once again, so what is it, I am meant to be doing then?
Destiny wants something different for me. I even want something different for me, and in fact I see, what I am really meant to be, I see my purpose, but do I see it fully?
No wish or want is going to get me where I need to be, it’s about taking action, continuously.
I wish I did not need money to pay the bills, that I had enough to live on and I could write away, but this is not my current situation, not tomorrow, and not today!
I cry at losing a job I love, I have to work my consultation period, which is agonising enough, then I have to search for something I don’t want to do, and lose seeing colleagues I like, too.
But destiny wants something different for me, something better, something amazing, that now, is not a reality. It wants my dream, it wants to push me to my limits like a laser beam. It wants to tell me to stop doing what I do, that you are meant for more, you know you want to. You want to be famous, you want to be a leader, you want to be a speaker, you want to be a writer. You want to be you. Nothing else will do. But if you stay as you are, you may not go as far, as you would, if you could, if you were forced, you should – do what you are meant to do, and let the whole world know it too.
Destiny has something better for me, even though I currently feel in agony.
Destiny knows what it wants me to do, now be bold, be brave, you have to.
Destiny wants something better for me and so do I, so on a wing and a prayer, I will fly high. I will push myself to reach the sky.
Destiny wants something better for me and so do I. So stop the cry. Because destiny wants something better for me and a better destiny, it will be!!
I believe you have the power to change your life, those of others, and the world around you!!!
I recently wrote a quote on Facebook:
“You don’t need to put a chip in your brain to have super powers, all of the super powers are already within you, they just need unlocking” – Quote by Sandra Bellamy
A lot of people don’t realise that all of the will power, intuition, determination and resources to succeed are already within you. You have to have a can-do, nothing will stop you attitude. When everyone else is saying, ‘can’t’, you need to ask ‘how?’ and start to work it out. That is why the journey is more important than the destination, because of all the life lessons, skills and experience you pick up along the way, on the road to your dreams!!
If you could change the world, what would you do??
