Knowledge is Everything – Attitude is All!

One of the best ways to Beat Redundancy Blues, is to start gaining new knowledge, new skills and new experience. Employers are looking to employ staff who are up-to-date, flexible, adaptable, easy to teach; and who already come with experience, knowledge and skills that are either required to do the job, or can be adapted to it.

Attitude is all – Even if you have up-to-date skills, experience and knowledge, unless you have the right attitude and mindset for the job; either you won’t get it or you won’t stay in it.

One of the best ways of gaining new knowledge and skills, is to attend seminars, training and workshops. I go to business seminars every year, that often have workshops too. They are a great way of connecting with like-minded people and thought leaders, to boost your self-confidence and self-esteem. That in turn, will help give you a winning attitude for success.

What seminars, training and workshops have you attended? And how have they helped you?

SandraBellamy.com New Website is Live and Launched

Sandrabellamy.com

All Singing, All Dancing, http://www.sandrabellamy.com is now Live, Launched and Looking fantastic! Enjoy!

Hi everyone

Since I got back from London, I have been mega busy with going straight back into my day job and building my websites. I have finally finished building and just launched, my All Singing, All Dancing, SandraBellamy.com website. I am especially proud of this one. It has every element I wanted in it. This website is BIG! You can scroll down and read and see tons more:

  • My Break Through The Barriers Of Redundancy book – Coming soon
  • A slider
  • A slide show
  • Testimonials
  • Facebook Pages
  • Twitter Pages
  • Featured pages
  • Awesome photos
  • Pages with all of my businesses

This is the penultimate site. My last site to finish and officially launch is my http://www.embraceyourquirky.com site. It already has content and has had a fair amount of hits. It displays my YouTube videos from my http://www.youtube.com/user/quirkybooksTV channel, and takes more of a blog site look, making it a completely different and ‘quirky’ feel to my other sites.

I do own two other domains, but not planning to do anything with them for a very long time, as they aren’t currently directly related to what I am doing.

So, soon, I am done with building sites. Then it’s site maintenance, updating what is already there, and I need to add more pages to this and my http://www.quirkybooks.wordpress.com blog too. I must also update my LinkedIn profile and some of my http://www.sandrabellamy.co.uk site at some point.

In the future, my http://www.quirkybooks.net site, will no longer have dummy text on there, but be my own e-Book store. I intend to create and produce e-Books that will include the following subjects:

  • Getting back into work
  • Writing
  • Blogging
  • Twitter
  • Asexuality

I am so excited. This is the start of my biggest dreams and I am so very fortunate to have you on my journey with me – Without you, I would not be where I am today, so THANK YOU xxxxxxxx

I have got photos and videos to share with you from London and Chestnut’s birthday last month, that I am behind with publishing. In the meantime, please tell me what you think of my new http://www.sandrabellamy.com site??

Stay positive, keep going for your dreams and write soon

Launch of Quirky Academy UK to Beat Your Redundancy Blues

Quirky Academy UK

Quirky Academy UK Website

I just launched Quirky Academy UK – It will focus more on my products in comparison to Quirky Academy .com, that focuses more on my courses, classes, workshops and services – Starting with my Break Through the barriers of redundancy book.

I had a great time in London. Nick Vujicic was fantastic, and I got my photo taken with author Andrew Matthews, who signed all 3 of the books I bought from him. I told him I like to write and he listened to me about what my Break through the barriers of redundancy was about, and said I was well placed to write the book, having been made redundant twice myself. This is great motivation.

I went straight back into work and I am chocca at the mo. Photos and video/s to follow. It’s almost 4.30am and I have to get up for my day job in just over 3 hours, and I haven’t been to sleep yet.

Stay quirky and write soon

Launch of quirky-books.co.uk and Jobseekerpreneur

New Quirky Books UK website

New Quirky Books UK website

I have finally finished creating and just launched www.quirky-books.co.uk. This is a fun and funky site with a quirky theme! I had a lot of fun creating this site and now I still have to finish packing half of my case for getting up to go to London in less than 3.5 hours. Arrrgghh! I still have clothes to iron – It’s gone 3.30am and I have to get up at 6am, but first I need to finish this launch, then pack! No rest for the good! Yesterday, I launched www.quirky-books.com, and I also launched www.jobseekerpreneur.com on the 1st of May – 3 sites in 3 days – That is good going!!!  3 More left to do and finish – I have made a start on them!! Then I will be focusing on my Break through the barriers of redundancy book, publishing it and helping a ton of people get back in to work – That’s my aim. I am going to the National achievers Congress on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May, in London, that’s why I am going to London this morning. Nick Vijucic (No Arm, No Legs. NO LIMITS) will be the star of the inspirational/entrepreneurial seminar. Registration starts from 7.15am and it’s not due to finish until 8pm – It’s often later. It’s the first Bank Holiday I have had off from my day job in retail, I had to get permission to go from my boss. I wouldn’t want to miss Nick live on stage. Nick Vujicic LIVE in London
